Research

My research focuses on marine geology, geological oceanography, environmental geochemistry, sedimentology, and seafloor mapping. I investigate processes operating across coastal, estuarine, continental margin, and deep-sea environments using field observations, laboratory analyses, GIS, and quantitative approaches.

Current work spans environmental contamination, submarine canyons, biosiliceous sediment diagenesis, hydrothermal systems, and Earth surface processes.
